Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial
Responsibility and Connected Persons
This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the UK
Disclosure Rules.
On 17 August 2005, Frits Passet, a director of a subsidiary of Hornby Plc (the '
Company') exercised options over 37,500 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary
Share'), representing 0.10% of the issued ordinary share capital, at a price of
32.7p per share. On the same day Mr Passet sold 27,500 Ordinary Shares,
representing 0.07% of the issued ordinary share capital, in the open market at a
price of 220p per share in order to cover the exercise costs and taxes incurred.
Following these transactions, Mr Passet holds 10,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 0.03% of the issued ordinary share capital, and options over
150,000 Ordinary Shares with an average exercise price of 83.4p per share.
