Mr J.W. Stansfield, finance director of Hornby Plc (the 'Company'), exercised
options over 14,156 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ('
Ordinary Shares') at a price of 223p per Ordinary Share on 15 November 2002. Of
the options exercised, Mr Stansfield sold 12,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of
475p per Ordinary Share the same day. As a result of these transactions, Mr
Stansfield has a beneficial interest in 2,156 Ordinary Shares representing 0.03
per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
