PURCHASE OF SHARES BY DIRECTORS
We hereby notify you that we were advised on 13 November 2003 that on 12
November 2003 John Hancock, the Chief Executive Officer and Gordon MacDonald
Chief Operating Officer of MFI Furniture Group Plc (the 'Company') purchased
25,000 and 59,420 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company respectively,
at a price of 149.5 pence per share. Mr. Hancock's holding in the Company now
stands at 796,255 Shares (prior to this transaction, 771,255 Shares) and Mr
MacDonald's holding in the Company now stands at 250,000 (prior to the
transaction,190,580), such notifications having been given in accordance with
Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985.
