Dividend

The Board of MFI Furniture Group Plc has recommended a final dividend of 1.0
pence per share (1999 - 0.7 pence) which, together with the interim dividend,
gives a full dividend of 1.9 pence per share compared to 1.4 pence per share
in the previous year. The final dividend will be paid on 15 June 2001 to
shareholders on the register as at 1 June 2001.
