Change of Name to Galiform Plc - Approval at Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
held on 23 October 2006

MFI Furniture Group Plc confirms that the resolution to approve the change of
name of the Company to Galiform Plc, following the disposal of the Retail
Business, was duly passed as a Special Resolution.

passed as a Special resolution at the EGM have been submitted to the UK Listing
