September 2001, we are writing to confirm that Computershare Trustees (CI)
Limited, as Trustee of the MFI Furniture Group PLC Employee Share Trust, are
now interested in 17,863,421 MFI Furniture Group PLC shares which we believe
represents 3.0016% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
