Notification of transaction in shares by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities

The Company was today notified that yesterday Caroline Bishop (a director of Howden Joinery Ltd and a person disclosing managerial responsibility within the Company) sold 5,000 shares at a price of 373.3 pence per share.

Following the sale, the total holding of Caroline Bishop is 197,403 shares (0.03% of the Company's share capital). The holdings are beneficial holdings of those named.
