Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 5 June 2015 it purchased from UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 507.21p per share:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	100,000
Highest purchase price paid per share:	513.50p
Lowest purchase price paid per share:	505.00p

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 300,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 651,530,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
