	Under the HSBC Share Plan 2011, awards were made in 2012 to John Flint in respect of performance year 2011. A total of 71,592 ordinary shares were allotted to John Flint upon the vesting of these awards on 12/03/2014 and are subject to a 6 month retention period. The Trustees of the Plan sold 32,218 shares to meet the tax liability arising. The interest in the balance of 39,374 shares has been transferred to John Flint as beneficial owner. The remainder of the award will vest in one further tranche on 12/03/2015.
