       including 2,279 shares to minor children.

       c) HSBC France shares exchanged for 52,000 HSBC Holdings plc shares under 
       the same terms as the acquisition of HSBC France - 13 HSBC Holdings plc 
       shares for 1 HSBC France share, and 29,627 HSBC Holdings plc shares sold 
       on behalf of minor children.
