ISSUANCE OF SENIOR UNSECURED NOTES

On 6 September 2016, HSBC Holdings plc issued EUR 2,000,000,000 0.875% Senior Unsecured Notes due 2024 under its Debt Issuance Programme (the "New Notes").

Application has been made to list the New Notes on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
