AGM Trading Statement

Hunting PLC 25 April 2007 25 April 2007 Hunting PLC AGM Trading Statement Hunting PLC ('Hunting'), the international energy services company, will be holding its AGM at 10.30 am today. Richard Hunting, Chairman, will be making the following statement to shareholders: 'Performance throughout the Group continues to reflect a strong marketplace enhanced by capital expenditure decisions made in prior years. Oil and gas companies persist in their urgent quest for new developments and reserve replacements, thereby providing excellent opportunities for Hunting. Gibson Energy's truck transportation, with additional trailer capacity, continues to benefit from Canadian heavy oil projects. Its Canwest Propane division has seen immediate results from prior year acquisitions and margin management. The Marketing and Moose Jaw Refinery divisions are continuing to capitalise on the volatility in the various grades of heavy oil and diluent availability. Hunting Energy has experienced new and further growth throughout its global facilities. Our Asian Group has benefited strongly from Middle East and Far East contracts. The European market remains steady for products and services. In spite of a stabilised North American rig count, all facilities have improved order books. The Exploration and Production division has improved year on year volumes. Overall, trading is in line with the Board's expectations. However, currency fluctuations will impact the final result. We have uniquely positioned ourselves to capitalise on the growing trends within the global oil and gas industry. Combined with our organic growth capabilities and disciplined financial execution, we view the future with confidence.' - ENDS - For further information, please contact: Hunting PLC Dennis Proctor, Chief Executive Tel: 001 281 442 7382 Dennis Clark, Finance Director Tel: 020 7321 0123 Hogarth Partnership Limited Tel: 020 7357 9477 Andrew Jaques John Olsen Anthony Arthur Notes to Editors: Hunting PLC is an international oil services company providing support solutions to the world's largest oil and gas companies.
