                            Hunting PLC ('Hunting')

  Completion of the disposal of the businesses and assets of Hunting Contract
            Services ('HCS') and Hunting Technical Support ('HTS')

Following the passing of the resolution approving the disposal of HCS and  HTS
at  the  extraordinary  general meeting held on  Monday,  5  March  2001,  and
following the approval of the shareholders of Babcock International Group  PLC
at  the  extraordinary general meeting held on Wednesday, 7  March  2001,  the
Board  of Hunting is pleased to announce that the disposal of HCS and HTS  was
completed today.
