Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for a listing of 536
ordinary shares of 25p of Hunting PLC to be admitted to the official list, for
issue on conversion of 1,578 8.25% cumulative convertible preference shares.

The shares will, when issued, rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
issued ordinary shares of the company.

Copies of this announcement will be available for 14 days at the registered
office of Hunting PLC at 3 Cockspur Street, London SW1Y 5BQ.
