Result of Statutory Audit Tender
Hunting PLC (LSE:HTG) today announces that, in compliance with the Competition and Markets Authority regulations and EU requirements, it has concluded a competitive tender for statutory audit services. Having approved the Audit Committee's recommendation, the Board will propose the appointment of Deloitte LLP for the year commencing 1 January 2019 at the Company's 2019 Annual General Meeting.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will remain the Group's auditors for the financial year ending 31 December 2017 and, subject to shareholder approval at the Company's 2018 Annual General Meeting, for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.
John Nicholas, chairman of Hunting PLC's audit committee, commented:
