ITE Group plc ('ITE') announces acquisition of Conference
and Exhibition on Advances in Plastic, Reconstructive and
Aesthetic Surgery ('COPRAS')
ITE has acquired 100% of the rights to COPRAS for a
consideration equivalent to three times the average pretax
profit for the next three editions to be held in 2001, 2002
and 2003. An initial cash consideration of US$200,000 was
paid on completion and a further US$70,000 is to be paid on
1st October 2000.
The first Conference was held in February 2000 in Moscow.
The conference was attended by over 200 paying delegates
together with 1000 sq.ms. of net space sold to exhibitors.
Lawrie Lewis, ITE's Chairman said: 'I am delighted that ITE
has acquired COPRAS which strengthens ITE's Healthcare
product portfolio. We plan to add further international
attendees to the event and to replicate the show in other
countries.'
