          Acquisition of Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference

ITE Group plc ('ITE'), the international exhibition group specialising in
emerging and developing markets has today issued the following statement:

ITE has acquired 100% of the issued share capital of Caspian Events Limited,
which organises the Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference held annually
in Baku. The consideration is fully settled in cash.

The long established Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference is the
leading event in the sector and services the strategic oil and gas industry in
Azerbaijan.

Ian Tomkins, Chief Executive Officer of ITE, said 'We are delighted to have
acquired this event as it fits perfectly with our very successful portfolio of
Oil and Gas events in Russia and the CIS. ITE's local office in Baku currently
organises a successful and growing range of events in non-oil sectors, and we
will seamlessly integrate Caspian Events using our existing operational teams,
supporting associates and extension network of offices and agents, throughout
