ITE Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 16 May 2007, 2,475,833 of its
ordinary shares held in Treasury will be cancelled.

Following the cancellation, the Company no longer holds any shares in Treasury
and has a total of 258,465,988 shares in issue.
