ITE GROUP PLC ('ITE' or 'the Company')
The Company announces that Ian Martin will resign as a non-executive director
of ITE with effect from 30 June 2000.
Mr Martin informed the Company on 6 December 1999 that, on that date, he sold
120,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company, representing 0.07 per cent.
of the issued share capital of the Company, at 78.5p. He now holds 26,485
shares in the Company, representing 0.02 per cent.
The board of ITE would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Martin for
the contribution he has made to the Company and to wish him well in the
future.
With effect from the AGM of the Company on 25 January 2000, Sir Hugh Bidwell
will become non-executive Deputy Chairman of ITE. He is currently executive
Deputy Chairman of the Company.
