ITE Group plc ('ITE')

ITE announces that on 6 June 2007 it acquired 100,000 of its own ordinary shares
of 1p each at a price of 190p per share. It is intended that these shares will
be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, ITE holds 100,000 of its ordinary shares in Treasury and
has a total of 258,516,641 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in Treasury)
in issue.
