ITE Group plc ('ITE')

ITE announces that on 7 June 2007 it acquired 150,000 of its own ordinary shares
of 1p each at a price of 187833p per share. It is intended that these shares
will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, ITE holds 250,000 of its ordinary shares in Treasury and
has a total of 258,366,641 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in Treasury)
in issue.
