Iconic Labs Plc (LSE:ICON) (the "Company"), a multi-divisional new media and technology business, announces a new partnership with the award winning advertising agency, M&C Saatchi after the successful launch of Infotagion which has now reached over 2 million readers - doubling the reach from launch.
Infotagion were approached by M&C Saatchi to work together on a pro bono (unpaid) basis. M&C Saatchi is launching, through Infotagion, 'Find the Truth. Isolate the Lies', a mythbusting campaign that will expose the most dangerous lies circulating about Covid-19 and reveal new ones as they arise. The free service is managed by the founders of Iconic Labs who are leading the direction, distribution and amplification of the campaign across traditional and social media. The launch is supported entirely through earned media (unpaid), including News UK, across titles such as The Sun, The Times and Talk Radio. The work will launch first in the United Kingdom followed swiftly by the United States and Canada.
Partnership between the three companies comes at a time when most major new sources are reporting on the issue. In addition, the United Nations has issued an open brief to the creative community asking for support in tackling misinformation surrounding COVID-19, the results of that contest will be announced at the end of April.
Infotagion has also launched a weekly podcast which will feature Damian Collins MP, former Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture, Media and Sport and a member of the Iconic Labs team along with key media influencer guests. The first episode is out now and available on iTunes and Spotify and features John Quinlan, Damian Collins and Baroness Kidron.
Since the media launch of Infotagion there has been more than 87 pieces of individual news covered by the UK's major news outlets including the BBC, ITV, Daily Mail, radio and local and specialist news sites.

The company has been approached by a number of organisations including world leading Universities about using the Infotagion platform and data. The company looks forward to updating the market with the progress of these plans.
John Quinlan, Chief Executive Officer of Iconic Labs, said : ""We have made a very strong start with Infotagion. To receive such a response in such a short period of time just goes to show how important this service is to the public. The support has been unprecedented and the platform is growing day by day. The new podcast is the next stage of development and hopefully there will be much more to come. We plan to keep growing this platform and increasing the awareness of what Infotagion and Iconic Labs can achieve."

The core of the service is a website ( www.infotagion.co.uk ) on which users post screenshots of information which they have received from social media or elsewhere. The submitted information is checked by a team organised by Mr Collins, which includes experts from, inter alia, the WHO and Parliament.
