AGM statement

IDOX plc (AIM: IDOX, 'IDOX' or the 'Company'), a leading independent supplier of software and services to the UK public sector and global engineering information markets, is holding its Annual General Meeting today.

At the AGM, Chairman Martin Brooks will make the following statement:

"We have made a strong start to the year with trading in the first quarter exceeding management expectations.  A particular feature has been the positive organic revenue growth in both the public sector and engineering information management division, in addition to the acquisition-driven uplift in trading.

"The integration of McLaren with recently acquired CTSpace is progressing rapidly under a single divisional management team and we are already becoming recognised as a global domain expert in enterprise engineering information management.

"As the Group expands, we are launching a graduate recruitment initiative for the first time, to secure the services of high-calibre staff to meet our need for an expanding UK workforce.

"It is still too early to provide full-year guidance, particularly as the Board is mindful of the continuing uncertain global economic outlook, but it is nonetheless an extremely encouraging start to the trading year."

About IDOX plc

IDOX plc is a supplier of specialist document management and related software solutions and services to the UK public sector and increasingly to highly regulated asset intensive industries around the world in the wider corporate sector.

Its public sector software and service division is the leading applications provider to UK local government for core functions relating to land, people and property, such as its market leading planning systems and election management software. Over 90% of UK local authorities are now customers.

The Group provides public sector organisations with tools to manage information and knowledge, documents and content, business processes and workflow as well as connecting directly with the citizen via the web.
