AGM Statement

Idox plc (AIM: IDOX), a leading supplier of specialist information management solutions, announces that at its Annual General Meeting to be held today at 10am, Chairman, Martin Brooks, will report the following:

Idox is pleased to announce a good start to the year and that trading is in line with management expectations. 

The Group has signed a number of major public sector contracts including a further £1.6 million extension of services to the Scottish government, a three-year £1 million managed services contract with Watford Borough Council and an additional five local authority contracts since the start of the year totalling a further £1 million. The Company's election management team continues to be actively engaged in supporting local authority customers in preparation for the UK General Election in May. In Algeria, we have recently commenced work with an oil company, for a roll-out of McLaren's operations solution product, worth an initial £0.5 million. We are also ahead of target to launch AllGov, a new cloud based service for local councils across an integrated national platform, providing additional sources of revenue for the business.

As I am about to complete ten years as chairman in May I have indicated to the board that I anticipate standing down as chairman by the year end following a suitable handover period. We are also looking to strengthen the board in the current financial year with the appointment of an additional non-executive. I am confident that the core strengths of Idox will continue to result in enduring customer relationships, yielding strong recurring and professional services revenues and will stand Idox in good stead for the future.
