OFT clears completion of LalPac acquisition
IDOX plc (AIM: IDOX, 'IDOX' or the 'Company'), a leading independent supplier of software and services to the UK public sector and other markets, is pleased to note that the Office of Fair Trading ('OFT') will not refer the proposed acquisition of LalPac Ltd ('LalPac'), announced by the Company on 9 February 2011 (the 'Acquisition'), to the Competition Commission.
The OFT said on 20 April 2011 that it will not refer the Acquisition to the Competition Commission under the provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002.
Completion of the Acquisition is therefore expected to take place in May 2011, subject to the conclusion of certain legal formalities.
