OFT investigation into acquisition of Grantfinder
IDOX plc (AIM: IDOX, 'IDOX' or the 'Company'), a leading supplier of software and services to the UK public sector, has been notified by the OFT that under Section 5 of the Enterprise Act 2002, the Company's acquisition of Grantfinder Ltd, announced on 4 May 2010, is being investigated. The OFT is considering whether the acquisition should be referred to the Competition Commission. IDOX will fully engage with the OFT in its investigation.
Grantfinder was acquired on behalf of the Company's Information Solutions Division for its specialist content and recorded revenues of £1.6m for the year ended 30 September 2009.
