Trading Update
i-documentsystems group plc ('IDOX' or 'the Group') is pleased to report that
trading for the six month period to 30 April 2004 was in line with analyst
expectations.
The strategy of combining software with information/content continued to prove
successful. The Group benefited from both the extension of its services among
existing clients and awards of contracts from new customers.
Since the end of the six month period to 30 April, IDOX has acquired TFPL Ltd, a
leading knowledge and information management consulting firm. The acquisition
will enable IDOX to provide clients with expert consultancy, project teams and
training in addition to the Company's information management software and
services offering.
Andrew Fraser, Chief Executive commented: 'Our strategy of growing our client
portfolio and expanding our services among existing clients has positioned us as
one of the leading providers of information management solutions in the UK
public sector marketplace. The addition of TFPL has been very well received by
our clients and strengthens our information and knowledge management capability.
We are encouraged by our current progress and believe that IDOX is on track for
its stated aim of moving into sustained profitability.'
i-documentsystems group plc will announce its interim results for the six months
ended 30 April 2004 on Monday 12 July 2004.
