New Director to join International Greetings Board
International Greetings plc, the greetings and stationery
products group, announced today that Martin Hornung has
today been appointed to the Board to spearhead the
international development strategy of the group.
Martin, aged 43, has been part of the senior management team
since he joined International Greetings in 1991 and has
significant experience in all areas of the business. During
the last year he has been actively involved with the US
division and has also led the group's development of
Halloween products in the UK and Europe.
John Elfed Jones, Chairman, commented:
'I am delighted with Martin's appointment to the Board. An
additional executive director at this time will allow the
group to achieve its strategic objectives for growth in
Europe and the USA. Martin's knowledge and commitment will
be of tremendous value for the future.'
Mr Hornung has confirmed that there is no further
information relating to himself which is required under
paragraph 16.8(e) of the AIM Rules.
Martin is also a director of Scandinavian Design Limited and
International Greetings Asia, Limited, both 100%
subsidiaries of International Greetings plc.
