After nearly four years as Finance Director, Steve Clutton will be leaving IG later in the year to pursue other opportunities.  Steve will stay with the Group to affect an orderly transition of responsibilities, including finalisation of the results for the year ending 31 May 2010. 

Steve has played an important role in IG's success over the last four years, which have seen the Group expand into six new countries while continuing to grow its more established markets.

A search has begun to find a suitable replacement.  To ensure continuity in the interim, the Group has appointed an existing member of its senior management team, Matthew Tooth, to perform a transitional role.  Matthew, a Chartered Accountant, has been with the Group for over 10 years and has held a number of senior positions within the group including Risk Director and Managing Director of the Group's UK spread betting business.  Matthew will work closely with Steve to achieve a smooth hand-over.

Steve Clutton commented "I have enjoyed playing a part in IG's continuing success and in building its financial strength and am confident that the Group remains well placed for further growth."
