IG Group Holdings Plc ("IG", "the Group" or "the Company"), a global leader in online trading has today received notice from Sam Tymms of her intention to step down from her role as a Non-Executive Director of the Company following the Board meeting on 20 March, 2019 to pursue other interests.
Andy Green Chairman of IG Group, on behalf of the Board, would like to extend his thanks to Sam for her contribution to the Board and as Chairman of the Board Risk Committee during her tenure of almost 6 years and wish her every success for the future.
Jonathan Moulds, a Non-Executive Director of the Company will be appointed as Chairman of the Board Risk Committee (the "Committee"), to replace Sam Tymms upon her resignation from the Board.
Jonathan Moulds is an existing member of the Committee and has comprehensive leadership and risk experience having served as Group Chief Operating Officer at Barclays plc and Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch International. Jonathan has broad regulatory and pan-industry knowledge having been chairman of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and as a serving Advisory Board member of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME).
