Non-Executive Director Appointment
The Board of IG Group Holdings plc (the "Company"), a global leader in online trading, is pleased to announce that Lisa Pollina has today been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Commenting on the appointment, IG Group Chairman Mike McTighe said:
"Following an extensive, externally facilitated search I am delighted to welcome Lisa to the Board. With the prospective acquisition of tastytrade due to complete later this year, Lisa brings highly valuable experience of working with US-based regulated entities, policy makers, and regulators. Lisa will complement and further diversify the skills, knowledge and experience of the Board."

Biographical details
Lisa is currently an investment adviser to Ares Management where she provides consultative counsel on financial services, business services and technology investments. A 2021 appointee to the Board of Munich RE representing the Americas, she has also served on the Policy Owners Examining Committee (POEC) Board of Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company.
Previously she served as Vice Chairman of RBC Capital Markets, the Royal Bank of Canada from 2012 to 2015, and from 2015 to 2020 she served as a member of the Senior Advisory Board of Oliver Wyman. Lisa is an accomplished Board Director having served over the past 10 years on the Boards of residential mortgage real estate investment trust Two Harbors Investment Corp, The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, among others. She has chaired audit, risk, finance and capital committees during her Board career.
In 2014, Lisa was named one of the 'Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance' by American Banker magazine. She has led diverse teams in wholesale banking and markets, corporate banking, asset management, and treasury, digital transformations, and restructurings.
Lisa was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States' Working Group on Global Markets from 2014 to 2021, providing perspectives on macro trends worldwide.
Lisa is also a Board member of The Atlantic Council of the United States, where she serves on the Compensation Committee and is involved with several of its transatlantic programs including with those with the Global Energy Centre and those via the GeoEconomics Centre, related to Central Bank Digital Currencies and the Digital Dollar.
Lisa has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, has taught strategy at Yale and corporate finance at the University of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University.
