IG Group Holdings plc ('IG' or 'the Company') has received notification from
ReachCapital Management LLC, in respect of the ordinary 0.005p shares in the
capital of IG over which they hold voting rights. The notification is in
accordance with the Transparency Directive's new requirements for disclosure of
major shareholdings.

The notification stated that effective 26th January 2006, ReachCapital
Management LLC plc have an interest of 14,699,357 of the ordinary 0.005p shares,
constituting 4.49% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
