IMC defines further significant gold mineralization
The directors of IMC Exploration Group plc ("IMC") are pleased to announce additional assay results from follow up sampling on our Wexford licence PL 2551. Following our announcement of 12December 2012 regarding Drill hole 12-2551-04 in Co. Wexford where a core interval from 11.50 to 13.00m has yielded 354g/t gold (=11.38oz/t gold), three distinct gold zones, two at shallow depths and a third at a deeper level, have now been identified within this drill hole as follows:
Zone 1 | 4.50 metres (10.00m-14.50m), including 1.50m @ 354g/t (11.38oz/t) as previously reported (12/12/2012); 1.50m @ 2.32g/t and 1.50m @ 1.13g/t. |
Zone 2 | 5.00 metres (18.50m-23.50m), including 0.50m @ 6.16g/t and 1.50m @ 2.97g/t. |
Zone 3 | 7.10 metres (149.60m-156.70m), including 0.80m @ 2.39 g/t and 1.00m @ 1.63g/t. |
The above assays were carried out by OMAC Laboratories, a member of ALS Global (Stewart Group Geochemical and Assay).
