Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for 956,380 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be admitted
to the Official List.


These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued
pursuant to the following schemes:


456,380 shares under the IMI Sharesave Plan 2004; and 500,000 shares under the
IMI Employee Share Ownership Plan.


It is expected that admission will commence on 20 July 2007.


When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary
shares.
