IMI plc, the major international engineering group, will be announcing its 
preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2005 on Monday 6 March 2006.

There will be an analysts meeting at 9.15 am at the City Presentation Centre, 
4 Chiswell Street, Finsbury Square, London EC1Y 4UP.
