29th June, 2001
Internet Music & Media plc ('the Company')
Completion of the Company's fund raising referred to in previous announcements
is at an advanced stage. In view of the significance of this post balance
sheet event, the directors feel that it should be reflected in the annual
accounts, which are otherwise ready for publication, to give a complete view
of the Company's financial position.
They have, therefore, decided to delay the finalisation of the accounts for
the period ended 31st December, 2000 which as a consequence will not be sent
to shareholders by 30th June, 2001 as required under the AIM Rules. Trading
in its Ordinary Shares on AIM will accordingly be suspended with effect from
7.00 a.m. on 2nd July, 2001 pending the publication of its accounts.
