The Company has today received notification from AXA Investment Managers UK
Limited on behalf of AXA S.A. and its group companies that at 18 May 2004 they
were interested in 4,961,500 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 13.46
per cent. of the Ordinary Shares in issue. The registered holders and beneficial
owners were as follows:
