The Company received advanced notification on 2 August 2006 that, following the
conversion of the Company's 5.5 per cent. Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2009
to ordinary shares of 1 pence each (which were admitted to trading on AIM
today), British Empire Securities and General Trust plc is interested in
9,812,000 ordinary shares, representing approximately 9.87 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.
