Appointment of non-executive director

The Board of Impax Environmental Markets plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Victoria Hastings as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 21 May 2013. 

Mrs Hastings has worked for nearly 25 years in the Investment Management industry. Her roles have included being a Non Executive Director of Charter European Trust; Investment Director at JO Hambro Capital Management; Chief Investment Officer at Merrill Lynch Private Investors and a fund manager in the Merrill Lynch European Equity team.

The following information is disclosed in respect of Mrs Hastings in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the UKLA's Listing Rules.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules, it should be noted that Charter European Trust plc went into voluntary liquidation in February 2012 as part of a reconstruction at which point Mrs Hastings ceased to be a director. It is confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to Mrs Hastings.

There are no other matters to disclose in respect of Mrs Hastings pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the UKLA's Listing Rules.
