Issue of Equity - advance announcement

The Board of Directors of  Impax Environmental Markets plc  announces
that it is considering an issue  of up to 17,000,000 Ordinary  Shares
pursuant to the Company's general authority in order to meet  ongoing
market demand. Any issue of  Shares will be at  a price no less  than
the prevailing Net Asset Value after taking account of the costs  and
expenses of the issue.
