Replacement announcement: This announcement replaces the Issue of Shares announcement released at 7am on 27 March 2020 under RNS 7886H. The second shares to be issued under the blocklisting authority was 250,000 Ordinary shares, not 500,000, resulting in total shares in issue  of 227,469,355, not 227,719,355 as previously stated.  All other details remain unchanged.  The full amended announcement appears below.

Issue of Ordinary Shares

On 26 March 2020 Impax Environmental Markets plc (the "Company") issued from its blocklisting facility the following shares: Ordinary shares Price per share 250,000 266.00 pence 250,000 265.50 pence

As a result of this issuance, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue is 227,469,355 and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 227,469,355.There are no shares held in treasury.

This figure (227,469,355) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they may determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. For the purposes of the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules the Company's Home Member State is the United Kingdom.
