Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 21 June 2013 it purchased 1,940,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 127.32p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 128.75p and the lowest price paid was 126.25p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 79,710,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 244,799,264.
