Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 15 June 2012 purchased 774,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 95.75p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 96.5p and the lowest price paid was 93.5p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 39,586,303 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 284,923,070.
