Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 13 September 2013 it purchased 380,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 137p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 138.5p and the lowest price paid was 136p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 90,651,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 233,858,264.
