Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 25 October 2013 it purchased 250,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at a price of 142.5p per share.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 92,411,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 232,098,264.
