Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 31 January 2014 it purchased 685,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 144.61p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 145.0p and the lowest price paid was 144.0p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 95,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 228,811,264.
