Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 12 April 2013 it purchased 1,312,484 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 122.28p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 125p and the lowest price paid was 122p.  These shares will be held in Treasury. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 66,693,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 257,816,264.
