Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 14 March 2017 it purchased 246,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at a price of 228p per share.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 228,965,855 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 183,267,746.
