Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 31 October 2016 it purchased 552,426 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 216.8p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 217.25p and the lowest price paid was 216.75p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 237,375,604 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 191,677,495.
