Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 30 September 2016 it purchased 286,769 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 208.46p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 210.00p and the lowest price paid was 208.11p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 239,128,030 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 193,429,921.
